Window connection tape Indoor consists of a plasterable fleece composite with 1 SK strip, optionally laminated with a butyl strip on one side or alternately. The indoor connection foil is used for fast and secure internal, airtight and vapor-retardant sealing of window connection joints and can also be used as a plasterable internal sealing. Primer.

On highly porous substrates, we recommend a primer with butyl & bitumen primer if butyl is used for bonding.

Installation instructions for window connection tape INDOOR, red 1 SK, 25m

• All profile openings, e.g. cut edges of extensions and window sill profiles or continuous grooves in attached roller shutter boxes, must be sealed with sealant.
• The surfaces to be bonded on the frame and masonry must be clean and dry, free of dust, grease and release agents (e.g. on new plastic profiles).
• The surface coating on wooden windows should be several days old, as otherwise still escaping solvents can reduce the tape adhesion. If necessary, dirt should be removed with degreasing cleaning agents. Attention must be paid to material compatibility.
• For highly absorbent, sanding substrates, pre-treat the building body with an adhesion promoter, e.g. DRG spray primer, DRG spray adhesive or solvent-free primer.
• In the event of breakouts in the masonry, a clean smooth finish must be created again.
• When bonding, the tapes on the frame must be applied wrinkle-free, parallel and pressed through. At the corners, overlap the tapes and bond them rain-proof or airtight.
• Movement absorption must be ensured by sufficient loop formation in the area of the connection joint.
• Minimum adhesive width on the window 15 mm, on the wall at least 30 mm
• The sealing tape must be sufficiently bonded to the masonry in the area of the later plaster cover (rule of thumb: at least 75% of the contact area).
