The trioplex 45/15-30 mm, XL, black, 2.25 m is the ideal solution for airtight and driving rain-proof sealing of window and door connection joints. It not only provides reliable sealing but also ensures excellent thermal insulation over the entire structural depth. Whether you are building a passive house or renovating your home, this product meets the highest demands.
Thanks to the newly developed inner step-band and optimized compression on the inside, trioplex is particularly effective. It meets the requirements for water vapor diffusion and guarantees that your interior spaces remain dry – "denser on the inside than on the outside," according to the RAL installation guideline.

Proceed as follows when determining the dimensions:
1. Measure the width of the joint to be sealed (at least 8 mm according to the installation instructions).
2. Select the tape dimension so that your measured joint size is optimally in the middle of the application range. Example: Joint width 8 mm → tape width 7–12 mm. This gives you sufficient leeway for natural size changes of the joint.
3. The installation depth must always be greater than the maximum joint width. Joint sealing tapes are constructed according to this principle – for example, dimension 15/7-12: joint width 7–12 mm, installation depth 15 mm. Also consider the surface quality of the joint flanks: For rough or structured surfaces (e.g., plaster), you can use a wider tape with a greater installation depth than for smooth surfaces.
