Window connection films INSIDE, red, full-surface self-adhesive, alternating, 25m
Window connection tape Inside consists of a plasterable fleece composite with 1 self-adhesive strip, optionally laminated with butyl strip on one side or alternating. The connection film Inside is used for fast and secure internal, airtight and vapor-retardant sealing of window connection joints and can also be used as a plasterable internal sealing.

For highly porous substrates, we recommend a primer with butyl & bitumen primer if butyl is used for bonding.

• All profile openings, e.g. cut edges of extensions and window sill profiles or continuous grooves in attached roller shutter boxes, must be sealed with sealant.
• The surfaces to be bonded on the frame and the masonry must be clean and dry, free of dust, grease and release agents (e.g. on new plastic profiles).
• The surface coating on wooden windows should be several days old, as otherwise escaping solvents can reduce tape adhesion. If necessary, dirt should be removed with grease-dissolving cleaning agents. Material compatibility must be ensured.
• For highly absorbent, crumbling substrates, pre-treat the building with an adhesive primer, e.g. DRG spray primer, DRG spray adhesive or solvent-free primer.
• In the event of breakouts in the masonry, a clean smooth screed must be created again.
• When bonding, the tapes must be applied to the frame without creases, parallel and pressed continuously. At the corners, allow the tapes to overlap and bond them in a driving rain-proof or airtight manner.
• Movement absorption must be ensured by sufficient loop formation in the area of the connection joint.
• Minimum bonding width on the window 15 mm, on the wall at least 30 mm
• The sealing tape must be sufficiently bonded to the masonry in the area of the later plaster covering (rule of thumb: at least 75% of the contact surface).
