Ramsauer 131 MULTIFLEX, RAL 9002 off-white, 310 ml is suitable for sealing single and insulating glass panes (also in combination with laminated safety glass panes) in wooden, metal and plastic frames. 131 MULTIFLEX is well compatible with laminated safety glass films (PVB); for cast resins and in combination with insulating glass, please consult our application technology department. Suitable for sealing connection and expansion joints. Suitable for mirror grouting.

 131 MULTIFLEX is a ready-to-use, one-component silicone sealant specially developed for window and door construction. The material is UV-, weather- and age-resistant. Very good adhesion even without priming on glass and many metallic substrates and a variety of plastics. In its vulcanized state, 131 MULTIFLEX is physiologically harmless and inert.

General notes: The expiry date of the material must be strictly observed, as otherwise the stated mechanical properties of the product can no longer be guaranteed. Pay attention to the ambient and substrate temperature. Pre-treatment of the adhesion surfaces: The adhesion surfaces must be load-bearing, dry, dust-, oil- and grease-free. If necessary, carefully pre-treat the adhesion surfaces with a suitable primer. Joint formation: For expansion joints, the dimensions must be designed for the maximum movement absorption. A minimum joint cross-section of 3x5 mm must be maintained. Joint formation must comply with the currently valid standards and guidelines. Applying the sealant: Ramsauer 131 MULTIFLEX, RAL 9002 off-white, 310 ml must be applied evenly and bubble-free into the joint within the processing temperature. If the substrate has been pre-treated with a primer, its flash-off time must be observed. The smoothing work must be carried out within the specified skin formation time. When finishing, ensure good contact with the adhesion surfaces/joint flanks (smoothing with Ramsauer smoothing agent). When using smoothing agents, any water streaks that occur must be removed immediately after sealing, otherwise optical impairments can be expected.

In combination with some paint systems (e.g. linseed oil varnish, stand oil varnish), discoloration of the sealant may occur. Heavy exposure to tobacco smoke or environmental influences can lead to discoloration. Due to the types of glazes offered, an internal adhesion test is required.
